Because WforHer is washed off with water and soap. We knew it would have to be safe for people, oceans, and marine life. These ideas were our guiding principles, informing our decisions from both scientific and business perspectives.
WforHer contains no Glycerin, Paraben, Glycol, and no preservatives. Our products are manufactured and packaged in an FDA-registered facility in the US that adheres to GMP practices. All ingredients are domestically sourced and manufactured in the United States.

Dimethicone
Dimethicone is a synthetic polymer found in many high-quality skincare products. Known for its protective and moisturizing qualities, it adds a supple, flexible quality to the skin, improving softness and resilience. Its ability to fill the gaps between skin cells in the epidermis gives skin supple flexibility and helps retain moisture. It’s perfect for rough spots on the body like elbows, knees, hands, and feet and can be safely used to relieve certain itchy skin conditions, like eczema.
Dimethicone is partially responsible for the silky gliding sensation when skincare products that contain it are applied. Products that contain dimethicone apply easily to the skin, creating a barrier that locks in moisture, reduces water loss, and provides long-lasting coverage without feeling heavy or sticky.
Though dimethicone is an excellent moisture barrier, it will not clog pores or lead to breakouts or irritation. It protects irritated skin from further damage and chafing and is safe to use on any body part and as often as needed, including lips and our most intimate areas.

Dimethiconol
Dimethiconol is a type of silicone polymer. Its formulation adds a hydroxyl group to both ends of the molecule, resulting in a highly versatile compound used frequently in cosmetics to improve the texture of a product. For example, it might be used in place of propylene glycol to smooth out the texture of a topical to help it glide on without adding too much bulk. Since it is a denser product than dimethicone, dimethiconol is usually diluted with something that has a smaller molecule.
You’ll find dimethiconol in hair-finishing products as it conditions and adds shine. It is also very effective at helping to retain the skin’s natural hydration as it forms a barrier that prevents evaporative moisture loss. When added to serums and gel creams, dimethiconol adds a lightweight barrier, protecting the face from environmental toxins and free radicals in the air.
Dimethiconol’s occlusive properties mean that it does not disappear or rub off skin easily, so washing the product off thoroughly after use is essential.
Dimenthiconol is gentle and safe for all body parts. It is not an eye irritant and is generally considered hypoallergenic. However, if allowed to dwell on surface skin for prolonged periods, it may clog pores. Because of the large size of dimethiconol molecules, there is no danger of it penetrating the skin barrier, so there is no need to be concerned about the product accumulating in your system.
